Location: Office 13244, Ångström building, Polacksbacken

Research Areas and Interests: Low-dimensional correlated quantum systems, Density Matrix Renormalization Group (DMRG), Matrix-Product state formalism, time-evolution methods, superconductivity, photoexcitation of model systems, high-performance computing, quantum computing

Biography: I obtained my PhD in theoretical physics from the University of Göttingen in 2019, working with Salvatore R. Manmana. This work focused on photoexcitations in a one-dimensional Hubbard model that is motivated by the manganites. Currently, I am working as a postdoctoral researcher in the theory group of Adrian Kantian at Uppsala University. Here I am investigating superconducting materials and developing novel numerical methods for this endeavor.
