Andreas’ Ph.D. thesis defense

On May 22nd, Andreas Theiler successfully defended his Ph.D. thesis “Magnetic impurities in conventional superconductors: Effects of superconducting order parameter suppression on Yu–Shiba–Rusinov and Majorana bound states”, with Prof. Brian Møller Andersen, Copenhagen has opponent. The day before we also arranged an interesting mini-symposium with Brian and the committee members: Julia Meyer, Andrej Mesaros, and Jens Wiebe as external speakers. A big thank you to all involved, opponent, committee members, group and division members, family, and friends, who all helped ot turn this into a very nice event and most of all, big congratulations to Andreas!
