I received my bachelor in Fundamental Physics in Universitat de Barcelona (Spain) in 2014 and then came to Uppsala to do my masters in Physics with focus in Materials Theory, which I completed in 2016. I started my PhD in the group in the same year, and its focus lays within studying electron dynamics from ab initio theory. My main project is about excited states in two-dimensional dichalcogenides, which we investigate using mixed quantum-classical methods based on Density Functional Theory and molecular dynamics. Furthermore, I have recently started another project to study size and shape effects in graphene flakes optical spectra with Time Dependent DFT. When I am not working I like to enjoy nature, train my dog and taste delicious food.
